NEW TYPEFACE PRINTING TECHNIQUE
Polymer plates are used to print fine detail photography. I was taught by one of the most talented print makers out there,
Martyn Grimmer. Through a happy accident I realised the polymer plates had to potential to print a typeface - whether it be on a relief proofing press or hand stamped. So far results have been successful — it prints well on an old Van de Cook and hand printing on various materials gives amazing results. So what use could it have for everyday designers? I believe this method could be a cheap alternative to producing your own typefaces, the end use being designers using them like rubber stamps. I'm looking into costs to see how feasible it would be in the real world against existing alternatives. More details and photos to follow soon.

XII GUERILLA MARKETING CAMPAIGN
Helping out friends isn't easy sometimes. 'Lopez' was produced to accompany a new XII artist promotion. Printed on colourplan pristine white, beautiful paper — bloody expensive! I also used a new ink from the US which gave an amazing finish. The image is inspired by graft — you know that thing we all do occasionally. Thank you Richard Avedon and Lopez the oil worker, I'm indebted to you both. There are tons of posters left over. If you want one, get in touch.

STUFFED
After the success of 'Do Human's Dream of Electric Cars', Sawday's Publishing asked Wire Sky to work on 'Stuffed – Feeding a growing population in climate change’. The book is due out this summer for international release. I left Wire Sky to go traveling before it's final completion, which felt awful. I'll post a link when the book is released so you can all buy it!

GREETING CARDS
Designing DIY greeting cards came to fruition when my friend Stein Olsen's birthday occurred without warning and I felt obliged to make him a card during lunch. The result was a symmetrical folding out cap B, with the message 'B for Birthday' on the inside. I've made a few more now and you can download them, free of charge.
